Character Development

As a story is being formed, character descriptions and generalizations will begin to become detailed and finalize. Influences of the setting and time period will determine the characters appearance in looks, clothing, as well as whether they carry weapons or not. Multiple sketches will be done to get a general idea of the variety of emotions the character will take on in the story. Below are a few character designs from films such as Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away 2001), Mimi o Sumaseba (Whisper of the Heart 1995) and Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns 2002).
